indi Marketing Manager

About the Role:

This is an amazing opportunity for a smart, passionate product marketer who is excited to contribute to the marketing and brand efforts for indi, a smart banking solution for independent workers. Finance is perceived as a traditional, stale industry. You’ll be tasked with the responsibility of crafting fresh product messaging that resonate with users. And you’ll use your creativity to help execute multi-channel campaigns that drive acquisition, engagement and elevate the brand and product story in memorable ways for customers.

Here’s what you’ll be working on:

Indi is one of a kind digital banking product targeted at self-employed customers who are part of the rapidly growing gig-economy space. We are building a product to address the challenges faced by those customers in a unique way.


  • Develop messaging and positioning strategies for indi.
  • Work cross-functionally to coordinate product launches and execute go-to-market strategies.
  • Provide strategic input on the marketing perspective throughout the product development cycle.
  • Positioning - Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market
  • Messaging Architecture - Partner with Product Management, Product Design, and Customer enablement teams on terminology and messaging
  • Support sales enablement – support the business development teams in the communication of the value proposition to the revenue teams and help develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products
  • Demand generation – provide input to the strategy and support the marketing programs that drive user engagement, retention and acquisition.


  • 5-7 years’ experience in marketing; Experience in consumer marketing and technology preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with digital customer acquisition and ability to drive usage and revenue for digital consumers product
  • Passionate storyteller with strong writing skills and the ability to distill complex ideas into simple concepts.
  • Independent problem solver who can roll up sleeves and get things done.
  • Data driven marketer, comfortable with digital marketing technologies and communication.
  • Personal finance knowledge/experience is a big bonus, but not required.
