We’re hiring a Senior Account Executive to continue to support our business development efforts for our software product in mid-sized and large market segments. This includes building relationships with potential clients and growing our pipeline for new partners. A person in this role should have proven success as a “hunter and farmer” ideally in governance / risk / compliance software or a related area. We’re looking for a skilled, passionate, and driven individual to help us deliver impactful sales and distribution partnerships to fuel the continued growth of Atlas.

What you'll work on:

  • Drive and execute business development strategy by understanding the competitive landscape and our product strengths
  • Pursue and convert leads from multiple lead-gen sources including website and affiliate organizations
  • Nurture and convert accounts from free trial / freemium use to contracted accounts
  • Identify specific prospects/ software platform channels to approach while communicating the specific value proposition for their business and use case
  • Reach out to prospects and potential platform partners, set up meetings, communicate product value proposition, demonstrate the product high-level, and nurture relationships
  • Manage engagement process from opportunity identification to contract close for multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Communicate market needs to the product team and ensure needs are being met
  • Represent Atlas in conferences and industry events
  • Be an active participant in our product improvement process
  • 90% focus on new business and pipeline generation and 10% on supporting existing partners and account management

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years applicable experience in business development or sales, ideally in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) software
  • Experience in efficient pursuit of SaaS, enterprise, or B2B accounts
  • Excellent communication skills and a consultative approach to identifying problems and finding solutions
  • Drive and willingness to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic
  • Desire to be a part of a startup, which means interest in adapting to a changing environment
  • Build long term relationships with partners and clients
  • Proven effective team player / collaborator
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and effectively communicate technical concepts
